@ $12.00

In rural Kenya many children and the elderly are afflicted by 'Jiggers'. 'Jiggers' are sand fleas which burrow into the skin, often under toenails or fingernails. They feed on the skin/blood of the host, causing extreme pain and ulceration. If untreated, infection can lead to tetanus, gangrene and even the loss of a toe/finger. Health Care Workers are trained in their removal but lack medical kits for treatment. Provide these workers with required surgical blades and dressings to remove 'Jiggers' and prevent more serious health issues.

@ $25.00

Education offers opportunity. Primary schooling is provided by the Kenyan Government but children are unable to attend without a school uniform. Many families cannot afford this expense. Ensure that a child can attend school with the gift of a uniform (shirt, shorts/dress & jumper).

Provide much needed formula to the infants at Rangala Baby Home to ensure they get the right start to life. In rural Kenya, Infant formula is unattainable as it is too expensive for a local income. Supporting the formula feeding program gives these babies a fighting start to life!

@ $50.00

Provide seeds, fertilizer, tools and training to establish new 'Push-Pull' (complementary farming) plots or Kitchen Gardens. 'Push-Pull' programs result in improved yields, enabling farmers to move from subsistence farming to commercial farming. Establishing a Kitchen (veggie) Garden provides food security for families, improving nutrition and generating income from the sale of surplus produce.

@ $45.00

Milk provides nutrition for families plus income generation opportunities through ongoing breeding and the sale of surplus milk.

Wheelbarrows are useful for a multitude of tasks - carrying tools, food...even children! Many people are forced to walk long distances to source and carry water. Provide families with a valuable wheelbarrow plus three 20 litre drums, offering an easier way to cart and store essential water supplies.

Many girls and young women living in 'slums' or 'squatter settlements' are extremely vulnerable to abuse, exploitation and neglect. Unfortunately, vast numbers of them will become entrapped in the dark trade of prostitution. Contribute to the establishment of a Girl's At Risk - Support Group, offering these vulnerable girls access to critical services including health education, mentoring and skill development...leading to empowerment and an escape from abuse.

@ $60.00

We often take for granted that school children have access to basic sanitation. However, this is not the case at many schools in remote areas of Nepal. Contribute to the repair and/or construction of school toilets and improve the quality of health and education for many children.

@ $90.00

Computers now feature in our everyday life and are an integral part of communication. Unfortunately, the vast majority of children in Nepal have little or no access to computers.
