World Youth International has a range of programs available for adults of all ages. WYI has been sending volunteers to Kenya since 1992 and works in Western Kenya close to the Uganda border. All programs are based around the city of Kisumu along the edge of Lake Victoria.

You may choose to participate in our ' Overseas Action Program' (OAP) which is for people aged 18 - 30 years of age. Programs run for either 5 or 10 weeks and an Australian Team Leader accompanies you every step of the way.

Alternatively, you may be more interested in our 'Overseas Service Program' (OSP) for people 18 years and above with no maximum age. This program allows participants to design their own placements either in a professional field or a general category involving the local women and children. Programs run from 1 - 6 months all year round.

More recently, WYI now offers the 'Safari of the Soul' Program for women aged 40 - 60 years. This is a self discovery life changing adventure to a remote community for 3 weeks where you will get to live in a children's home and work side by side with the local community. An Australian Team Leader will accompany you every step of the way and a safari is included in your package.
