World Youth International Awards The Order of the Gorkha Dakshin Bahu Ralph Hoey, Director of WYI was awarded the Order of Gorkha Dachhin Bahu Medal in Nepal during September 2004. This award was presented by His Majesty King Ganendra at the Royal Palace in Kathmandu for WYI's outstanding humanitarian efforts in Nepal. Ralph Hoey has been recognised as the first ever Australian to receive this award and honour. Read more

The South Australian Tall Poppy 'Life Experience Award' In 2003 Terry Hoey (CEO of World Youth International until December 2007) was announced the winner of the Tall Poppy Award. Read More

The 2010 Young Achievers Leadership Award In 2010 Ms Jess Roberts was awards the Young Achievers Leadership Award for exemplifying leadership and community spirit through her willingness to work for the benefit of others.  Jess, through her work at World Youth International, has made an enormous impact on the lives of young people and children globally. She was recognised as being the "Best of the Best" and in the top 1% of personal achievers in our state.
