| There is no need for any previous construction skills as we work hand in hand with local labourers - all you need is passion, and a commitment to give it a go and get your hands dirty.
Your construction project will build a structure which the community desperately needs, in the areas of Primary Health Care, Income Generation and Education & Training.
Individually, you will also have the opportunity to work within a community in an area you are passionate about such as education, or in an orphanage or street kids home. |
There are over 40 placement options you can choose from, in the following areas:
OSP professional placements - Create an individual volunteer placement within your profession. As a trained professional, you can really use your skills to make a difference in a developing country, and the experience is invaluable.
OSP teaching placements - If you are a qualified teacher, we can place you straight into a hands-on role. We also accept non qualified teachers for this program and we provide you with a TESOL training program.
OSP general placements - If you would like to make a meaningful contribution in a developing country, but you are not exactly sure how, then this placement is for you. There are over 40 different placement options available including orphanage support, street children programs, health and sanitation projects, education, and support for community and women's groups. |
